Estia Health - Toorak Gardens

As one of Australia’s largest residential aged care providers Estia Health has a long history of providing access to quality residential aged care for people that need support. To accommodate the increasing demand for residential aged care in South Australia, and access to related services, Estia Health is redeveloping its Toorak Gardens site.

South Australia has a faster ageing population than other mainland states and by 2031 it is estimated that there will be more than 440,000 people aged over 65, making up more than 1 in 5 of South Australia’s total population. The proposal has an estimated project value in the order of $40 million and will provide accommodation for approximately 120 residents including a specialist memory support unit. The expansion will result in an additional 80 employees with total direct and indirect employment arising from the construction phase is estimated at 390+ jobs. Construction is scheduled to commence on this landmark building in 2023.
